SAEI waited awhile before stating my opinion on this particular Pagani watch model. I was really surprised by the quality of materials and level of craftsmanship along with the complications and details that really makes this watch stand out way above it's price point. The watch is rose gold. My wife had given me a 14 karat rose gold and diamond ring for our 25th anniversary. This watch matches it beautifully. I collect and repair watches and everyone I have shown this watch to, thought it was way more expensive. The "sapphire" crystal, "lock down" crown plus The "lock down" start/stop and reset buttons were a pleasant surprise. 316l stainless steel with the rose gold basil with gloss black engraving and rose gold face makes this one of the most beautiful watches I own. I have never seen a quartz chronograph this color and I was never a big fan of rose gold. Till now! It keeps perfect time and date. When I ordered this I also got the PD-1766 silver watch. It is also extremely nice but I haven't even unwrapped it yet. I am going to buy another PD-1644 Gold just to keep in the box while Pagani still makes them.

DubiousAlliancesFirst impressions: I have been and continue to be impressed by the PDโs products Iโve purchased. The bracelet wears well, and doesnโt feel โJanglyโ. I had to resize it, and, once again I find PD taking the high road and using (really nice, actually) screws instead of pins. One thing I didnโt care for - trying to micro-adjust the bracelet on the clasp. Unlike other designs where you can use a pin tool to remove spring bar pins and adjust the positioning on the clasp, there doesnโt appear to be a way to access the spring bar. I know some designs have a bracelet โfold-over-and-lockโ design on the bracelet itself to give you access to the spring bar, this one doesnโt appear to be one of those. So, I have to remove 3 links instead of 2 and micro adjust. The feel of the bracelet is great, itโs a two-tone band with brushed stainless steel outside edges and a โgoldโ middle stripe. The gold in the band, pushers, hands, crown, bezel, sub dial rings are all the same on a white dial. The gold color leans heavily towards โbrassyโ - time will tell how long the color lasts. Pushers and crown are screw-down. The pushers functioning are smooth with a solid โclickโ when starting/stopping/reseting the chrono. Crown unscrews and โpopsโ out to first position with ease. I sometimes have to run a waxed tooth floss around the threads for the screw down crown (Watchdives, for some reason always seem to have gritty threads - waxed tooth floss makes them buttery smooth) The date flips over crisply at midnite and time setting is a little looser than I care for, but is fine nonetheless. Thereโs no โplayโ forward or back in the hand movement when setting the time. The controls are โtightโ. Lume isโฆ There. NOT one of PDโs strong points. Iโm not much of lume guy (although I did buy a Ball Watch because of the tritium tubes) but for some itโs a make-or-break factor. I donโt care much either way as theyโre either on a winder or case at night and if I REALLY need to see the time Iโll look at the phone. Looks - this is where this watch shines I think. This is a gorgeous looking watch. The Daytona homage is VERY overdone IMO and Iโve been trending away from them recently however when this came up on my feed I was immediately struck by its looks, (and of course the price point!). I donโt even mind the brassy gold color because I think it works well with the muted brushed stainless steel. Overall opinion is, for the money this PD is a gorgeous looking and feeling watch. Am VERY happy with it!
